A Golden Wedding in Tulsa, OK

That Dress!

Maybe I’m just reading into things, but I think your wedding dress says a lot about you.  When I walk into the bridal room and I see your dress for the first time, it’s like finishing the conversation we’ve started months before.  I think it communicates how you move, the way you flow, your personality, and how you feel beautiful.  I love it.  Every time.  Dave + Kelsey’s golden wedding in Tulsa was no different.

I wasn’t sure what kind of dress Kelsey would have.  I kept trying to imagine something white and flow-y, but when I walked into that room… BAM!! That dress just hit me with all it’s perfection and there were mini explosions in my brain that just screamed, YES!  I’m not embarrassed to say that I didn’t have the imagination to do Kelsey justice.  She was perfect before it, but when she slipped into that golden, embroidered ball gown fit for a queen, she just floated through the rest of her day in beauty.

A Golden Wedding in Tulsa

I have to admit this wedding was extra special because the groom is my brother-in-law and the bride now my sister-in-law.  My husband was a groomsman and my kids were the flower girl and one of the ring bearers.  So needless to say we partied hard all day long.  The attention to detail was incredible.  I loved getting to snatch pictures of everything from the painted white pumpkin place settings to the golden decor to the mariachi band to all the friends and family who were there to celebrate.  Such an incredible evening!
